The previous statements have already mentioned that sharks rarely kills people, but in contrast, people kills millions of sharks every day. We cannot use those few cases of sharks attacking people to proclaim that sharks are dangerous. In fact, as human beings, we should reflect our behaviors. Our destructions to the species and their habitat are inhumane and irreversible. As high school students, we might be too helpless to stop shark fin trading, but at least we should stop consuming shark fin products. No buying leads to no killing.

Yes, I think the opening part is chilling. Because it describes some of the environment in the novel, it establishes some background information, and it introduces some basic environment about Kansas, which is barren, freezing, and gives people a chilling feeling.

Do you think the title in cold blood is good?
yes, because it exaggerated the dangerous atmosphere of the book. This also partially indicates that the story is related to a murder case.

Answers: I think that Perry seems very exhausted, he sleeps for a long period of time. Dick, on the contrary, behaves quite normally. Although he seems a little tired, he still kisses his mother and eats with his family. I think the end of part I is well-written because there are a lot of descriptions of the details. The most memorable thing to me is that Perry's shoe becomes pink after being soaped in the water. This might be foreshadowing something.

Do you think "persons unknown" is a good title for part 2?
Answers: Yes. In part 1, the writer has already introduced the murder case, so in Part 2, the writer should focus on who is the murderer. The plot fits the title. Besides, the title creates a mysterious atmosphere in Part 2.
