What do you think about this change where pluto was no more considered as a planet?
For question number two I think that the change making Pluto a dwarf planet was a very good idea because then if they didn't specify what was a planet and what was a space junk or asteroid or dwarf planet or what ever is in space then there would have been thousands of planets in our solar system.

3. What happened in 2006 that changed the status of pluto? What did the new findings tell us?

For question number three, In 2006 the Intonational Astronomical union decided to define the meaning of the word ''Planet" and an object was only a planet if it fitted the three qualifications. The first qualification was that it has to orbit he sun, the second qualification was that it has to be a sphere and the last qualification was that it has to be able to clear its neighbor hood, this meant that the only thing that could be surrounding a planet was their satellite (moon) which Pluto failed doing.

For example they made spaceships instead of rockets so then they can live in the space craft for long periods of time, like in 1973 they created the space craft called Skylab and they lived in it in space, In 1981 they made Columbia (the rocket) a reusable space craft and they helped build the I.S.S which can be seen with the naked eye from earth.

GPS (aka. Global Positioning System) works because there are 30 stellates in space orbiting the earth with us so then we know where we are and we know where to go.
In the olden days the earliest navigation methods involved observing landmarks or watching the direction of the sun and stars. Few ancient sailors ventured out into the open sea. Instead, they sailed within sight of land in order to navigate. When that was impossible, ancient sailors watched constellations to mark their position.

A wondering I found (bc I didn't do one) was 'Is space ever-ending?'
I know now that indeed yes space is ever-ending and ever-changing because In the quote on quote 'Beginning' There was the 'Big Bang' which there was a compact point of energy that exploded and expanded and expanded and know created our world and our universe which was the atoms forming together.
Something that still puzzles me to this day is that we never know if there is another galaxy far far away and they could be studying the same thing we are at the same time and not knowing that we exist. isn't that just mind blowing? They could be breathing and thinking the same thing we are and not know it, maybe in a another universe there are another animal or 'alien' populating the planet. And what if that other specie think that we are aliens cause we still fit the categories : different habitat(check), living in space(check) and much more. We humans will just never know, or does that government already know and they are keeping it a secret from us??? THATS MIND BLOWING!
I could explore this by putting secret cameras in the government meetings and I'm just kidding maybe we could research more about this at home and study hard :)

what do you think about this change where Pluto is no more considered a planet? I think Pluto should still be a planet because Pluto is round and it orbits the sun and its not to small not to be one in 2006 Pluto changed status what did the new finding tell us the the scientists found to be a planet it had to pass criteria the three criteria's were to orbit the sun and to have nothing around it but Pluto didn't pass the third one so scientists made Pluto a dwarf planet.

2. I think it was a good idea to change Pluto because if it was not considered a dwarf planet then a lot of things would be planets. It was a good idea to redefine what a planet is so then Pluto and Ceres and Eris and lots of other dwarf planets, rocks and space debris would be planets and then it would be super frustrating to remember and tell other people if your an astronomer so therefor I think it was a good idea to change Pluto and all the other dwarf planets into dwarf planets instead of just planets.

In 2006 astronomers changed the definition of planet, it had to pass 3 criteria's, 1st: It had orbit around the sun, 2nd: it had to be big enough for its gravity to pull it into a spherical shape, 3rd and lastly: they must have cleared their orbit apart from their moon/s. The new definition told us that we can exclude many many things like space debris, dwarf planets (which didn't pass the third criteria), asteroids and rocks.

1.After the planets discovery in 1930, pluto has been shrinking down and is now smaller than the moon, but is bigger than the asteroid ceres. pluto used to be as big as the planet uranus.

2.Pluto actully has a moon of its own called Charon, however Charon is only just such a little bit smaller than Pluto, and due to how the planet is not so far on orbit, it brings the weight down on Pluto and makes Pluto's orbit around the sun unstable, and may even disconnect.

3. We have so many other moons (Such as Callisto, Titan and Io) who may be even bigger than Pluto, and we cant really have over 1300 "planets" in our solar system

The Drake Equation is an equation created in 1961 by Frank Drake. I f we can ever solve it, it will reveal how many intelligent alien civilizations we would be able to contact. For now, it is just a formula. it reads:

N= R* x Fp x Ne x Fl x Fi x Fc x L

meaning:

N = the amount of detectable, intelligent civilizations in our galaxy

R* = the usual rate of formation of stars that can host life

Fp = the amount of those stars that have planets

Ne = the average amount of planets in systems that support life

Fl = the amount of those planets where life develops

Fi= the amount of those planets where intelligent life evolves

Fc= the amount of intelligent life that developed a detectable technology

we can calculate that with this formula, the answer would be a maximum of 12,500 (roughly)
