I enjoyed this article because it offers a list of behavioral traits on what makes a leader effective. After reading through the 8 steps I found myself reflecting on my own teaching and the motivation I instill on my students in my classroom. Persistence and consistency is key to implementing and setting high expectations. As a leader it is important to continue to motivate your campus through your accomplishments and through weaknesses.

I referred to this article in my last course and it was a really good read that I saved. As a leader it is important to set aside time to reflect with your teachers and allow them the time to collaborate with their team. This year at my campus we have really initiated PLC to reflect on student academics and set goals not only for ourselves, but for our students.
