Yes, I have experience with stage fright, and I can fully relate to Dwight Schrute from The Office when he was struck with speech. As with him, I become enormously nervous before speaking in front of a crowd. My hands are sweaty, my heart is racing, and I have no idea what I am to say. It's not the best feeling, but I have picked up a few things that help me get through it.

To settle my nerves, I inhale deeply and try to focus on breathing. I also practice my speech multiple times so that I feel more prepared. Every now and then I stand in front of the mirror or get a friend to listen and give me feedback. If I still feel nervous, I tell myself that it is okay to feel nervous. There are many others who feel just the same.

Having mini outlines or note cards helps me stay concentrated throughout the speech. I also try to smile and make eye contact so I can feel more connected to the audience. As time passes, I have gotten better at speaking in public, even though I still get nervous. The key is to stick with it, learn with each experience, and not give up. Each time you do it makes you feel more confident.

Yes, I definitely have experienced stage fright. I mean, especially while giving school presentations or speaking in front of unfamiliar groups of people. Even witnessing the extreme fear of Dwight Schrute from The Office seemed to be really similar. Like Dwight, I've had moments where my brain is blank, and I overthink everything I will say.

What helps me persevere is preparation and visualization. During the lesson, a good habit is to practice a number of times and imagine succeeding with a presentation before it occurs. I also focus on controlled breathing so that I will be calm, and I remind myself that the audience is likely to be supportive and not expecting me to fail. Another effective tactic is to begin with a personal anecdote or gentle humor; this allows me to engage with the audience and settle in. Over time, I’ve realized that confidence builds with experience. Like Dwight, who eventually delivered his speech with intensity (although over-the-top), channeling nervous energy into enthusiasm can actually make your speech more engaging. Public speaking is still nerve-wracking at times, but these tools help me push through the fear.

Yes, I've definitely experienced stage fright, like Dwight Schrute. When I'm nervous prior to public speaking, I attempt to get calm by breathing slowly and keeping in mind that it's normal to be nervous. I focus on the message to be imparted rather than dwelling on how I'll be perceived. Preparing ahead of time for my speech actually sends confidence through the roof. I also envision a successful presentation, which motivates me to stay motivated and also gets over the fear.
