Contrariwise, we can't practice our religion in some contries, because their people aren't so open-minded about it, forcing us tu use their religious symbols.
If Islamic veils are banned by law, this will be religious discrimination, because that would be taking part of their religion.

She speaked well.

•Vasco: Marcus Rashford (football player). He helped a lot of children and families, giving them clothes, food and supplies. A different topic but it was good because there’s a lot of “heroes”, as he said, all over the world. There’s a lot of good people in this world and it can be anyone. It wasn’t a big example like Mandela or Martin Luther King, but Vasco likes football a lot and he is always talking about football and this football player inspired him to make this speech.

•Inês Castro: She didn’t prepared her speech.

•Hugo: He didn’t prepared his speech.

•Tiago, David: Human Rights Hero: Oskar Schindler. I think it was a little bit confused, but from what I understood it was a good topic because we could learn a little bit about this man and his history.

•Sandro: Women Who Fought For Human Rights. Very organized, the powerpoint helped us following the speech. I think it was very interesting as well.

•Jorge: Discrimination. I couldn’t hear it very well, very confused.

•Micael, Catarina: Human Rights In Books, Series and Movies. Very interesting because we can find human rights everywhere. Very well explained and very organized.

•Gustavo: Information and Communication Technologies and Human Rights Violations. He speaks very well, very easy to follow. Very organized as well, good vocabulary. A little bit long.

•Daniela: Music and Human Rights. I think it was very interesting and appealing. The speech was very short.

• Gustavo: Changes and the future. Talked about the path that life takes and about the way we can change our life. It was a pleasure to hear him because he speaks very well and very fluently.

• Inês: My hobby: drawings. She showed us some her drawings and she was very happy to show them to us. She was also nervous but it was a very interesting topic and we get to know her better.

• Ana: Her passion related to the piano. She told us that she plays piano since she was 7 y.o. She was very excited while presenting this speech and that was very beautiful to hear.

• David: Brands and logos. He talked about the fact that people are considered richer or not by the brand that they wear or by the car that they drive and gave us his opinion. I always thought about that and it was very good to hear that we share the same opinion.

• Tiago: Electricity. He talked about on how much we depend on electricity, that electricity is everywhere and told us the pros and cons of eletric cars. He also said that his favorite brand is TESLA. I liked to hear his opinion and how much he cares about the planet.

• Tomás: Competitive sports. He gave us the definition of competitive sports and some examples. He said that with competitive sports we can learn things that physical education doesn´t teach us like persistence and hard work. I play volleyball and everything that he said it´s a fact.

• Hugo: He didn´t do the speech

• Viviana: She didn´t do the speech.

• Rita (me): She didn´t do the speech.

• Sofia: Her past/ her future. Books, movies and series helped her understanding more English and know more vocabulary. She writes to cope with her feelings that she got hold back and now writes very well. She relates with some people/histories who understand the feeling that she felt when she was younger, the fear of not belonging to this world and feeling deslocated to the others. I really enjoyed her speech because we got to know her better and she speaks very well.

• Gonçalo: The evolution of technology and bullying. Gave us the definition of bullying, showed us how the evolution of technology influences the bullying that occurs in our society. In my opinion, graffiti is art but obviously other people can have their own opinion and think what they want.

•I chose this image because I really like the colors in it and even the drawing is really pretty and caught my attention right away. I can say that this is the type of graffiti that I like, calm and vivid colors.
