He studied and learned (Quran, Teachings of the Prophet PBUH, in addition to the Arabic Language). 

His journey started when he ruled Al Ain in 1946, this kind of experience gained him knowledge and ruling skills. Furthermore he became a ruler for Abu Dhabi in 1966.

Then he did the impossible and overtime United the Arab Tribes in the UAE, this is why he is called the Founder of the first modern Arab federation.
