Hadith Jibril tells about Ihsan, Islam, Iman and the day of the hereafter. Jibril’s task is to teach prophets about Ihsan, Islam, Iman and the day of the hereafter to make sure they can spread it to ummah. To add, there are three things that Rasulullah assured. One, woe to those who do not ask for forgiveness from Allah when Ramadan arrives. Second, woe to those who have parents but do not do good. Third, people perish when they hear the name of the Prophet Muhammad but do not respond. So, we need to avoid this three things in our life.

To conclude, when seeking knowledge, we have to refer to knowledgeable scholars to get firm information.

PILLARS OF IMAN

1. Believe In Allah

   • only worshipped Him

   • trust His power

2. Believe In The Malaikat

   • created before humans with the purpose of following the orders of Allah and communicating with humans

   • believe that angels, like all other creatures were created by Allah

3. Believe In Kutub

   • revealed by Allah

   •revealed to the Prophet Muhammad by the Angel Jibril as his final revelation to humankind

   
   

• The Prophet is true.

• Allah created the Prophet for Muslims to believe in Allah alone.

• All prophets follow the same Tawhid (monotheism).

The purpose of Allah sending prophets: 

	1.	To remind people to have faith only in Allah.
	2.	To convey Tawhid (monotheism) without introducing anything new.
	3.	To invite people to believe in Allah.
	4.	So that the people obey Allah’s commands.

5. Believe In The Hereafter

   • believe that all human will be asked about their deed in the dunya

   • there will be hisab to all kind of deed

6. Believe in Qada’ & Qadar

   • Allah is All-Knowing.

   • Everything that happens is already written.

   • Whatever happens is by the will of Allah.

   • Believe that Allah is the Creator of everything in the heavens and the earth.

   
   

The term Ihsan is derived from the Arabic root word: حسن, which means beauty, goodness, and excellence. The word Ihsan itself is derived from the verb "ahsana" (أَحْسَنَ), which means "to do good" or "to do something in the best possible way."

There are 3 characteristics of Al-Muhsin. What are they??

1. Give good to others

2. Give the best we could in giving others good

3. Doing the two above only for Allah SWT

Why adab is important?

>>> “self-reflection.” It refers to the process of thinking deeply about one’s actions, thoughts, and behaviors in order to understand oneself better and make improvements.

• do not use rude word when communicating with them

Manners with other people

• Mutual giving

• Smiling

• Respect

• Forgiving each other

• Not mocking

• Not causing harm

• Not whispering in front of other people

Conclusion from the story of Prophet Ibrahim

 •	Maintain good manners even if parents are harsh with us.
	•	Humble oneself.
	•	Always pray for the parents.
	•	Address them with gentle words.
