Saludos, I am studying Pre-Nursing to pursue a career in Midwifery. This has been my passion since I was a young girl. My abuelita always said, "Una partera no se hace, se nace."

I truly believe this is what I am meant to do. I have been a CHW, BPC, and Doula for eight years now. I am a mother of 2 earth-side babies and 3 angel babies. Deming, NM is where I was born and raised. Creativity is my forte! I am excited to be here and expand my learning!

Hello everyone! My name is Katea. I'm from Palo Alto, California and moved to Santa Teresa, New Mexico six years ago. I am a current high school senior at Santa Teresa High School and in the future, I plan to major in mathematics and work my way to aerospace engineering. My life can be pretty hectic, especially being in the yearbook club, being in NHS, playing club volleyball, and going to classes for both high school and college, but I always seem to manage well! I am currently working part time in completing my associates in Early Childhood Education. I also work full time in a Pre-k inclusion center in Anthony New Mexico, getting hands on experience for my major. I love my job, my family and friends! Hello Everyone!

It’s a great pleasure meeting everyone! My name is Paola I’m 32 years old, I’m majoring in early childhood education. I am born in raise in New Mexico, I just recently moved to Santa Teresa. I have been happily married for 10 years already and we have an 18 year old a 9 year old and 7 year old and of course 2 frenchie children that are the heart of our family. I currently working in the dental field as a lead dental assistant I’ve been doing this for 7 year’s already as much as I love my job and taking care of patients. I have made a decision changing career paths because in the dental field can get pretty crazy and heck it. I can say my career change would be more to life stability and also I’ve seen the struggle in my kids education which it has eager me to put that fire in me to be able to help our future generations to help and develop them because they are our future. There has also been a decline in our educational system. That hurts because it wasn’t like this but one step at a time change will be made with the future teachers.
