-Virtually no records exist regarding of William Shakespeare's education.

- -Scholars have believed that William Shakespeare most likely attended the Kings New School, in Stratford, which taught reading, writing, and the classics.

- Since no records can be found, many are uncertain if Shakespeare compleated his studies or abandoned them so he can apprentice with his father.

- It's hard to say but according to some scholars Shakespeare's family was wealthy during his childhood but than his father encounter financial problems around his teen years which would explain why he droped school.
- In 1568, Shakespeare's father was elected mayor of Stratford-upon-Avon and one of the mayor duties was to pay traveling troupes of actors who would stop by and perform. Some scholars believed Shakespeare saw many of these plays and it's likely this is what first inspired him to become a playwright.

- Shakespeare married at the age of 18 to Anne Hathaway, a farmer’s daughter who was 8 years older than him and 3 months pregnant.
