Assessments Format

There is a new format for assessments.
All residents who are in a teaching capacity must participate in ALL assessments during the fall and during the spring.

In the Fall (Every Fall you are enrolled with us):
Residents will prepare a 20minute video and lesson plan to go with the video and upload those to their specified google folder.

In the Spring (Every Spring you are enrolled with us):
Residents will prepare a 20-minute video and lesson plan to go with the video and upload those to your specified Google folder.

Residents will also retake the Teacher Proficiency Assessment located in the resident's coursework. This assessment gets taken when you come in and start the coursework, then every Spring you are enrolled with us. The certificate needs to be uploaded by you to your specified Google folder when it is completed each time.

To locate the TPA in your account:

Log into your account on LMS - Course List Page
Click on the blue down arrow for the “Teacher Proficiency Assessment” row on the table.
This will expand and allow you to take the assessment AGAIN
Click and download the certificate and then upload it into your specified Google folder.

The Self Assessment: this is sent in the form of a rubric to you located in your profile. When you log in, there is a section that allows you to edit your profile located under your name in the middle of the screen. You click on edit profile and a new screen appears. The links for all 3 assessments are here. The self-assessment you will fill out completely including the questions. that require you to write a response. You do not do anything with it but fill it out. Do not share it with me, do not edit the name, do NOTHING but fill it out.

The Spring assessment rubric that you see is the one I fill out and you can see your feedback on for the video you submit.

Other Assessment rubric:

135 Methods course rubric is for me to fill out. When you complete your last course if it is assigned to you, then I will score it and here is where you will receive your feedback.
