Findings:
During a math small group activity, the child sat with her group and waited until it was her turn. Then, she picked up the materials, looked at them and told her group her observation of the materials.

Interpretation:
This shows that the child is able to function in learning group. McAfee (2016) states that the child should be able to "stay with the group, volunteer ideas to others; support and acceptance of others' ideas."

Findings:
During recess, the child kept to himself. He started crying when he came back from recess, saying "I need my mommy". Then, he rested his head down on his lap till he was picked up.

Interpretations:
This isn't typical behavior for this child. Due to his illness, he wasn't able to function as socially as he normally he is. He also had trouble regulating his emotions. According to McAfee (2016), at the child's age he should be conscious of his self control, however, due to his illness he wasn't able to self-regulate
