“Your faith has saved you; go in peace.” (Luke 7:50). He says this because even though she did not show good behaviour she would still be forgiven. Jesus had replied to the Pharisee by telling him a story which was about how “Two people owed money to a certain moneylender. One owed him five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. Neither of them had the money to pay him back, so he forgave the debts of both. Now which of them will love him more?” (Luke 7:41-43). The reason why he had told him the story is because he says that everyone should be forgiven.

Dear Diary,

I have had a terrible day today, My love Jesus was just crucified. This is the worst day of my life. I do not know what I am going to do without him. My whole life has revolved around him and now that he is gone I'm gonna be lost. Everyone used to take care of me when I was with Jesus. They used to feed me, wash my feet and treat me like a queen. People keep on telling me that I am going to be lost and lonely know that Jesus has died and that no one will take care of me and stay with me. But I still believe that I will be ok and that I can take care of myself. I owe it all to Jesus because he was the one who took me and helped me with all of my problems. He helped me turn my faith around because before I met him I used to be a prostitute. I regret that decision every day of my life and I am grateful for Jesus to understand and help me. I rememberer the first time I had every met Jesus and it was the best day of my life. Jesus was at the home of a Pharisee and I went up to Jesus and tried washing his feet. Immediately the Pharisee wanted to kick me out out but Jesus turned around and explained that I was just showing my loving and gratitude in response to the forgiveness of my sins. From then on after that day I became a follower of Jesus and I thought that I was really close with him and that we had shared some great memories. I owe it all to Jesus for me living a great and safe life after I had met him.

From Mary

Compare how the refugees and immigrants are treated in Australia to when the Holy Family had to flee Bethlehem to Egypt

People who have migrated from different countries to Australia are treated much differently to Australian citizens. They are seen as foreign and people think immediately that they are bad and that they should get deported straight back to where they had come from. I think that if the person is innocent and they do not look dangerous and they might cause problems in the country they should be allowed in and treated equally to the rest of us.

It is the same as how people migrate form different countries because they are also fleeing for safety just like how Mary, Joseph and Jesus had to from Bethlehem. Seeing how if people wanted to kill you that you would very much like to leave that country and live your life somewhere else and much more safer.
