She went against the people who were taking control over Pakistan. She, despite them saying it was not right for Islam girls to be going to school and wearing non-traditional Islam women clothing.
She kept going to school far after the Taliban advised girls not to and made many speeches from a young age about how sufferable the Taliban made it for girls to live in Pakistan and how she just wanted to live the life she had from birth.

She advises her supporters to get an education even if others tell them to do otherwise. She says that people should fight for an education because most of the women she knew growing up in Pakistan could not even read the price tags at the market. Malala wishes for everyone to follow their dreams and to always keep fighting for the things that they believe in.

When she was only a child, she was targeted and shot at but that never made her stop. Before she started giving speeches going against the Taliban, she did think that she should drop out of school and just give into the Taliban's orders. But she never actually did this and just fought for her right to education from then on.

When she was young, she played games with her friends, went to her dad's school and had a great life. She never thought the Taliban would ever come to Pakistan because it was so foreign to her and her country. But when they did, it was horrible. At first, it was nothing. Just a man preaching that it was not Islamic if girls went to school and didn't wear the traditional Muslim women clothing. Then, is escalated to them controlling the whole country. There were laws set in place and females had no freedom.
So, if she never spoke out about this because she thought it was wrong, she would be just like every other woman in Pakistan. She'd be uneducated, without freedom, but without life threats. So what
