The name “KOINONIA” is a Greek word meaning “FELLOWSHIP AROUND A COMMON GOAL.” The name was chosen to reflect the value placed on recovery by our Northwood’s residents and communities. The meaning, however, started and remains today the center point of our recovery philosophy. We provide 24-hour, peer supported environment and monitoring and treatment by a multidisciplinary team. Program participants can receive help with creating a resume, practicing interview skills and receiving job lead assistance through the FSET program. Job skills training can include financial assistance for approved job skills courses, basic education, or GED/HSED.
