The article seems to suggest that reading digitally isn't as beneficial as hard copy books. Yet, I have a much different opinion. For the past 5 years I have read on my phone or a Kindle. It helps me fall asleep and night and get comfortable when I am reading. I believe as a future educator that everyone has a different preference on what works for the. Some students may hate reading digitally, but other students may love it, so why not offer both options in a classroom? We want them to ask questions about text and be able to identify all sorts of things. It talks about reading comprehension and all the different pieces we want readers to get out of a story. I really like how this chapter outlines that every reader is different and some students will get some things and others won't. As a future educator I find that to be completely true therefore I will have to teach in a way that helps every students weaknesses. One talks about digitalized reading and the other talks about reading comprehension. Yet, some students may not be able to do one thing without the other. Let's say a student really likes to read on a Kindle and does much better reading digitally than hard copy. Yet, the teacher only lets the student use a hard copy. The student starts to fall behind and has a hard time keeping up with the assigned reading and can't comprehend what they are reading. As a future educator I don't care what resources my students need to use to learn as long as they are learning. If a student can't focus on comprehending a reading without a digital text then it doesn't help anyone. Therefore, these two readings go hand and hand in the way that some students may not be able to learn without a paper copy or a digitalized.  "Digitally delivered texts allow us to quickly highlight, extract, annotate, and then
