There were a lot of governments that wanted many different factors such as independence, land, and money. However, funding for these services was dramatically reduced after the war ended, causing more protests. Also, African American veterans were harassed when they tried to claim rights of service to be included in this act, but this created division between whites and black. But after the war, the soldiers returned to the United States, causing disruptions to the economy. Inflation followed suit, making the government respond by lessening federal spending. So overall, the federal reserve combated the recession by deducting rate hikes to try to control inflation better. Also, the recession led to more demand for women labor in service sectors, while men were demanded in manufacturing. But reduction for labor in manufacturing sectors diminished by a great amount compared to service sectors, which made it harder for men to find employment than for women.
