The warden has the prisoners dig holes everyday because he is looking for something. He meets another boy, Zero, who eventually escape. However, Zero is weak and won't make it. So, Stanley saves him and they return to the camp. They eventually find the treasure that the warden was looking for. Stanley's lawyer comes and says Stanley is innocent and Stanley and Zero take the treasure and leave the detention center. The curse is then lifted.
