What forms do scammers usually take on on Line?

1. Pretending to be a Line official

Normally, Line officials will not add, chat with, or call Line users for any reason. Therefore, if you receive a contact claiming to be from a Line official, be careful because it may be a scammer pretending to be you. Do not believe it.

2. Adding someone on Line and then chatting

If you encounter someone you don’t know who adds you as a friend on Line and then chats with them, it may come in the form of an invitation to apply for a job, an invitation to invest, or a lie that they have won a prize.
