My Plan

My future plan is to become a counselor for children with behavior difficulties and their families. I would also like to teach first grade. I have been a preschool teacher for about four years and also worked for Holy Redeemer Health System, as a teacher in North Philadelphia for homeless children. After finishing my last year teaching for Holy Redeemer I decided I wanted to go back to school for counseling.

When i am not teaching or in doing school work I enjoy running down the park with my dog Conan, laying on the beach, shopping, dinning out, and spending time with my family and friends.

I decided to go back to graduate school for counseling because i realized although i love teaching children i also love helping them. I enjoy helping people in general. I believe i will enjoy counseling because it is very rewarding and also challenging.

I am a good listener and enjoy working one one one with students. I have been told several times throughout my teachig career I have a special connection with children and i want to continue my passion for helping others by becoming a school counselor.
