His music reminds me of film trailers, it's dramatic and not like music you hear on the radio. I've used it in videography and short film because I like that it builds and creates tension (crescendo drops). I get a physical sensation listening to the music (goose bumps).

I am attracted to 2WEI's music as I am to Tommee Profitt's music for similar reasons as they are the same genre. They take well known pop songs and and recreate them as dramatic cinematic pieces that connects with myself because I already like the songs and its putting it into a genre I enjoy.

2WEI were picked up by Hans Zimmer through working for Junkie XL. 2WEI were inspired by Hans through being pushed to be the best they could be but were also very supported and were given the opportunity to work on some of Hans movies. They describe their experience as very difficult and expensive but it was a very fun time and to them was worth it. (Istrico Productions, 2024d).

Christian played his music to Junkie XL and then was offered the opportunity to work for him in LA. He then worked on the Mad Max movie which he said was an incredible experience because it was so crazy (Istrico Productions, 2024c).

Hans initially said he thought it was a terrible idea and then when Gore showed him the film, he expressed how happy he was to be wrong. He was flooded with so many ideas that he worked endless hours to the point of playing worse and worse because he was getting tired but wanted to continue writing the music (Vanity Fair, 2018).

Hans Zimmer wanted to create sounds that didn't exist - for example the "bramm" sound in the Inception movie. Chaz built sculptures that when hit with an instrument would create a new kind of sound, so Hans used that in his work and created the sound of new instruments that didn't currently exist. Through Chaz's sculptures Hans was able to open up a whole new way to compose sound (Vanity Fair, 2022).
