If I put myself in the shoes of the community facing hunger, I would see empty kitchens and limited food choices, hear stomachs growling and people saying, “I’m hungry, I need food,” and constantly think about where the next meal will come from. I would feel worried, stressed, and sometimes embarrassed to ask for help. I have heard them express frustration about not having enough food and observed them visiting community fridges, rationing meals, or skipping food so others in their family can eat. Their fears include starvation and the rising cost of living, while their frustrations and anxieties come from unstable access to nutritious meals and fear of being judged. They want consistent, healthy food, need proper nutrition to live well, and hope for stronger support systems so that one day no one has to worry about hunger. To raise awareness for this cause, I would create videos and social media posts sharing their stories, encourage donations and volunteering, and educate others about food insecurity so more people understand the issue and feel motivated to help.
