The Ganges River carries nutrient rich soils along its shores which allows the civilizations to develop and thrive along the waterway. All of the locations would be negatively affected by the disappearance of the mountains and with locations like Mt. Everest and the Ganges River people wouldn’t want to live there and wouldn’t be able to live there.
