lyric analysis

G herbo said in a song " Kids getting up for school they ain't setup no alarm wake up to the sound of the drums". G herbo lived in Chicago where they're crime rate is very high. What he meant by that lyric is kids wake up to sound of gunshots instead of alarms. This can be very traumatic towards kids and instead of having a actual role model they grow up to commit violence and make the crime rates higher. Herbo also said "I was born in the slums with the dr*gs and the b*ms looking up to the th*gs with the gu*s. Kids in Chicago grow up in poverty and always look up to the guys with the nice cars and money and look forward up to them who bring food to the community.

The reason that I chose G herbo for this case study is because I like the way he raps. Not talking about killing people or anything but I love how he always reps his people who passed away and they aren't forgotten. I also like how he always talks about coming from the struggle and making money to go back to the place he struggled from and help them with necessities. That inspires me that he goes back and help when there isn't much people in the world who go and help the places of struggles. Some rappers get fame and don't even look back to the place where they came from.

Chicago has its ups and downs and it's good and bad. Chicago has a lot of things its known for like Music, Food, Architecture. It has a lot of beautiful places like Chicago Riverpark, Millennium park, Chicago Theatre. Chicago had a rich history in the 1800s. It also the third largest city in the US. Chicago also has a lot of rappers that come from there like G Herbo, Kanye, Chief Keef, Chance The Rapper and Twista. But there is also a lot of bad things that happen. Like where there's a lot of poverty, kids don't really have role models so they grow up around gang violence and become gang members. There's a lot of people who lose family , friends , and parents. There is a lot of money struggle out there so behind the good is also a lot of bad.

G Herbo has a very interesting fasion. He wears alot of tight jeans but thats just because thats how they dress over there in chicago. He also wears a lot of branded products and likes to wear alot of chains that make him bling more. He also has an obsession with Uptowns and changes them on every chance he gets. Wears a lot of hats but thats just specifically his style. He also owns a lot of designer products and likes to show out a lot. https://youtu.be/Xju13TROQjg?si=XSeT2tKgoUirGkYC
