throughout my life I loved theater. It felt like an outlet that I could express myself with. During my high school years is when theater became my passion. My junior year I delt with the death of my dad and found that my high school theater department became my support system. After having my theater directors help me through so much, i realized that I wanted to help students like that in the future. I shared this with my director and she allowed me to act and direct in our next show (pictured above) which I won two awards for.

During school Ive been learning all kinda of new things that will help me to be a great teacher. Ive taken a castume and makeup class (which I knew nothing about beore) and have learned how to properly do stage makeup (pictured above)

After I graduate I will go straight into working as a high school theater teacher. I plan to work in arkansas for a few years and either stay in the state or find someplace up north to work. I would love to be able to find a newer or smaller department so that I can focus more on giving my all to my student while getting used to officially working.
