This stood out because many other cultures started to copy the work, which meant that it was sturdy, good, and popular. Their buildings were also known for their great care that they were built with, and the columns that were straight. This makes these buildings admirable because they were practically perfect, and the Greeks had none of the tools that we had today, like bulldozers and cranes to build with. It was all done by hand! Another thing that stood out about these buildings was the artwork that they managed to incorporate in the building. Their pillars were works of art, along with the innards and outsides of the building. It's really impressive how advanced and beautiful their buildings were. Their buildings were also beautiful on the inside, with art and carefully carved roods and floors. Another reason why it stood out was because plumbing is very advance and the fact that an ancient civilization could invent it is impressive. Last of all the Greeks spread there knowledge everywhere. An example is that in the present day everyone uses plumbing. In fact they rely on plumbing. We even have plumbers. To shorten my point the Greeks built something that everyone can use with there own resources (that are not as good as the present day) and there own ideas.
