When a baby Polar Bear is born the cub is a big as a guinea pig. 
A cub is also blind.
The arctic sun never rises from months October to February.
When a cub plays you may think the cub is doing play for fun but actually the play teaches the cub to walk and run in the snow. The play also helps and teaches the cub to be strong.
Polar Bears have no other predators apart from humans.
When a Polar Bear makes a kill other arctic animals like the arctic tern and the  arctic fox will be waiting to take the leftovers and eat whatever is left.Also the Polar Bear will crush the prey's
 skull and drag it up and out of the water out of land.
The Polar Bear tries to not let the prey see it so the prey has no idea its right next to something trying to eat it because if the prey does see the Polar Bear the prey will get scared and try to get away.

The body of a polar bears standing up is about as tall as a adult elephant, polar bears are 8 feet tall.the paws of an adult polar bear are 12.5 inches thats 2 grown man hands.polar bears have black skin that helps them keep warm in the very cruel arctic weather.
the polar bear has 2 layers of fur. the top layer of their fur is not white it is transparent it seems like it is white but the sun light bounces of their top layer of fur so it doesn't seem transparent it seems white. the bottom layer of the polar bears fur is there to keep them warm and to help the skin take in the sunlight.The bear has a 3 inch layer of blubber, which is baissicly a very thick layer of fat. You might be asking why do they need all this blubber (FAT) they need it to survive the cruel arctic winter weather.It helps the bear keep itself warm in the this climate!

CUBS
The cubs are usally born in the winter time because the adult polar bears mate in the spring and the fall so the cubs are born in the winter.On the first week  of the newborn cubs life it  can not see or hear on the second week it starts developing hearing and sight.On the third week it has fully developed hearing and sight.On the  second month of the cubs life it will play and walk around in their den, On the third week the cub will go outside of its den BUT will stay fairly close to its den.the newborn polar bear has only one thin layer of fur, It also has barely any blubber.The cub ussaly weigh a little over a pound!
