Under Natal Measures my choice was grandparents why? because grandparents are our roots. For example, my grandparent's history and diversity made me who I am today.

Under behavioral Measures my choice was friendship and acquaintances affiliative because, when you build a friendship, you build connections and connections build character. For example, sometimes it's not what you know but, who you know.

Under Subject Measures my choice were value and preference why because, I take pride in the values I bring to others. For example, you have to know what type of value you bring in life because that's what makes you someone preferences.

For Situation-Contextual Measures my choice is religious because, I believe in Jesus Christ. For example, I will preach the gospel to anyone who has an ear to hear and, a heart to receive.

To me this score means that I'm in tune with my ethic identity and, where I come from in who i am as a black African Amercian woman in this society.

I think that this means that I have a sense of where I came from and where I'm trying to go.

Nothing really surprise me because I'm pretty sure of who I am.

This score means a lot to me because, I always knew I had a high self-esteem.

I believe my score is the number that it is because I know who I am in this world. For example, I don't try to fit in or keep up with the jones. I just try to be the best version of myself each and every day.

My race identity stage is Internalization.

I believe that in in that stage because, I know who I am as a black African Amercian woman. I'm also good at adapting and getting to know other race outside of my race in building a real connection.

I know that I pass Pre-Encounter stage because, I have my own believes and values and I don't jump into other believes to build connections. I also know I pass Encounter because nobody can force me to do anything. Last but, not least I know I pass Immersion/Emerson because I'm not searching, trying to find who I am.

I've learned from this process; that you really have to know where you came from, to understand how to connect with different racial. backgrounds.

We do not live in a post-racial society, why not because even though we're not slaveys anymore. African Americans are still being treated unequal and unjust especially when it comes to our education and, our lawful rights.

My personal definition of race is being treated unequally becomes of the color of my skin. I know it's not biological construct because, you're not born being racist, racism is taught. I do know that social construct plays a part of racism because, it's something you have to practice and believe in.

One thing that stood out for me is the different types of races because, I'm only used to see the cultural race. Now that I'm aware of the difference to processes it differently.

I think what makes a black family unique is when we take care of our own. For example, not allowing our children to go into the system.

I think the strength in the black family is unity for example, we a black family comes together they are unstoppable they can build business. The challenges that black families face is brokenness for example, it too many broken houses for instance father is not present mother is neglecting the kids because she has to work overtime family not being supportive etc.

I don't Kown it really depends on the parent up bringing and how they want their children to be raised for example, if the parents were raised in a rough hard environment, they could either teach them their ways or, show them a different view on life.

Economic and poverty had an affected and a big impact on black families after slavery. Why I feel that is because we didn't have any opportunity to succeed after slavery was over.
