I tried to avoid looking different during middle school, thinking it would help stop the bullies. I also used to be extremely anxious, didn't really like super loud or unexpected music. Now I have solidified my identity and managed a lot of my anxiety and I find myself reveling in weird intense experimental music that would have totally made me hyperventilate as a kid. I especially listen to this whole album on the train- which has also been a huge development for me- back in 2018 the train made me SUPER anxious because it was so loud, I didn't get the system, I thought I would get lost on there forever.
