The one similarity is that condensation and evaporation needs liquid for the process to take place and both condensation and evaporation is a reversible change. The first difference is that for evaporation to happen heat is needed, but for condensation the hot vapor needs to cool down, for that it needs a cool surface to touch at the end. The second difference is that when the process of evaporation happens the state of matter will be a gas in the end. However, when the process of condensation takes place the final state of matter that will be a liquid.

The first similarity is that condensation and evaporation both involve the change of water and gas, like when the water changes to gas and gas changes to liquid both of them involve the change in water or gas. The difference is... both of them are the opposite when the change takes place. The second difference is that evaporation occurs only after the water reaches the boiling point, and only when water cools down can condensation take place.

Evaporation and condensation are opposite reactions. Evaporation involves matter turning liquid into gas for example water becoming water vapour. Condensation is matter changing from gas to liquid for example cup of ice. Water around the cup is due to condensation at room temperature. Similarity is that both have liquids & gases.
