<title>I used a video to introduce students to a new unit on America in the 1920s. We did a &quot;before and after&quot; list before the video about what they know about the era -- especially what images come to their minds when they hear &quot;the 1920s.&quot; We watch short clips of the video and pause for students to add to their visualizations about the 1920s. At the end of class we have a &quot;talk around&quot; to hear all of the new understandings students now had.</title>
