Katniss Everdeen, she is a skilled character and she has black hair, she is not very tall, she is a bit small.

In the beginning of the story, Katniss is smart but keeps to herself. I know this because in the text it mentions: "Still, I always take a moment to listen carefully for the buzz that means the fence is alive." This shows that Katniss is smart and has learned to listen for the buzzing of the fence. During the events that unfold, Katniss volunteers as a tribute. This can be seen in Chapter 2 when he says, "With a wave of my arm, I push her behind me. 'I volunteer!' I gasp. 'I offer myself as tribute.'" This shows that she really cares for Prim, but doesn't really feel the same way about anyone else. Prim is one of the most important people in Katniss's life.

She is a girl who comes from the 11th district, she is 12 years old, with dark eyes and satin brown skin.

Despite his size, he scores a surprisingly high "7" during his training sessions (8.34).

 Her name also means "regret" or "sadness" (source), which is a harbinger of what his fate will be in the Hunger Games. Rue strongly reminds Katniss of her sister, Prim. Rue formed an alliance with Katniss after announcing to her about a tracker jacker nest.

 Rue trusted Katniss in part because of the pin she wore over her heart: the famous mockingjay pin.

Peeta has blonde hair and fair skin, he looks strong and tall. 

his nickname is The Bread Boy.

 Peeta was first introduced in the 74th Hunger Games Harvest when he was selected as the male tribute representing District 12 along with the female tribute Katniss Everdeen. 

Before the harvest, Katniss and Peeta had only interacted once: at age eleven, when Peeta deliberately burned two loaves of bread in his family's bakery and took a beating from his abusive mother to feed a starving Katniss. Katniss had always felt indebted to him for his kindness, but never found the courage to thank him. Often, he would stare at her at school. Sometimes Katniss would make eye contact with him, only to have her eyes quickly fade.

Her personality is quite arrogant and he can believe himself to be quite superior to others.

Based on what Katniss says, it may be immediately apparent that she is incompetent with the bow, but this is just Katniss's perspective, she may be a good one.

Foxface might be one of the smartest tributes in the Hunger Games, she's pretty cunning and gets things done fast.

Katniss nicknamed her "foxface" due to her cunning and calculating fox-like appearance. His real name was never revealed.

If Foxface had not died, he could have easily won the Hunger Games, since it was noticeable that he had silently studied the plans of others.

Thresh is one of the biggest tributes, he is muscular and quite strong, he has brown eyes and dark skin.

• He is quite lonely and shows little interest in training but he is successful anyway, he doesn't like to talk much either, he is powerful and resourceful and represents a serious threat to the other tributes.

• He has physical power so silent and deadly he doesn't need to impress anyone.

Cato is the male tribute from District 2, he has blond hair, he is tall and strong, he has blue eyes.

He has good skill with weapons and a horrible taste for killing, he's good with the bow but the apparer likes his sword better or that's what I thought when he said "No, says cato putting the bow away. I'll do better with my sword"

It's a ruthless killing machine, it doesn't feel any remorse, it doesn't care about killing the people it kills, that's what Katniss says "boy from district 2 is a ruthless killing machine".
