My dad is pretty into music, and even though he's more into other styles of music (his favorite artists are REM, The Rolling Stones, and Cage the Elephant) he appreciates classic music across genres and years. It was never finished, and it's just the same verse and chorus repeated three times. But man, this song just speaks to me in a way no other song has. This song has gotten me through some really rough breakups and low points in general. It isn't particularly complex lyrically, but it's a song that feels like it was written specifically for me when I'm going through hard times.
