With sections that give slight information on the teacher it allows the child to be able to connect to their teacher.
A teacher introduction letter allows a family to know what they have to look forward to for that school year. The letters are to build a relationship with the parents and families

This style of writing is a window into the teachers life as well an opening to to learn about the family to help teachers and families form a get a greater connection to have the best school year possible. Writing these letters to your students families is not mandatory in school districts it is optional for teachers. Not having a connection to the teacher and the teacher not having a connection to the family makes the process of school more difficult than it needs to be. Family connection is key especially in younger grade levels so making that connection be a mandatory thing would be more beneficial to all.
