EL PASO, Texas (AP) — The 21-year-old man charged with capital murder in the fatal shooting of 22 people at a Walmart in El Paso, Texas, pleaded not guilty Thursday during a brief initial hearing.
 
 
Police have said Patrick Crusius of Dallas confessed to the Aug. 3 mass shoting and that he targeted Mexicans. Some two-dozen people survived the attack with injuries, and two of them remained in the hospital.
 
Why Mexicans?
 
It has been said that he targeted mexican since he really believed in what Trump was saying about shutting down our boards and took it a little too far.
 
I don't think that's what the president wanted you to do !!  A little extreme.

El Paso Police Chief said the AK-47-style assault rifle was bought legally. They looked for the dealer, an ATF database from Dec. 2017 lists roughly 1,470 licensed federal firearm dealers just in Dallas-Fort Worth. They found out that the firearm purchases through a private seller are not subject to a background check. Investigators said the accused gunman in the deadly Dayton shooting as well. He ended up just waking in to the Walmart and unloaded the gun on all the people in the store.

Crusius liked animals and kept pet snakes. “He wouldn’t talk to people,” Tony Locascio said. “No one really knew him.” How was very antisocial it could have been a reason he did this. 

Another former classmate, Jacob Wilson, said Crusius was “very strong-minded” in class and would try to “take charge,” but other kids refused to work with him because he was “irritable and had a short temper.” He was often “picked on” because of how he spoke, and because he wore what looked like hand-me-down clothes, Wilson said. This is why he was antisocial because he got made fun of all the time
