Roots is a practical, hands-on program tailored to young people aged 16-19 who are seeking education, training, or employment. Participants will learn about farm life, animal care, conservation work, and biodiversity, while gaining valuable experience that can support their future goals. Sessions are held on Fridays from 10am-12pm, providing a supportive space to build skills and confidence. Young people can sign up by emailing cytpoolefarm@plymouth.gov.uk

Roots for SEND is a group designed for young people aged 16-25 with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND). This group offers participants the opportunity to learn about farm life, animal husbandry, practical conservation, and biodiversity in a calm, nurturing environment. Participants can also work towards earning digital badges to enhance their CV. Sessions take place on Mondays from 1-3pm. To join, young people must email sendyouthwork@plymouth.gov.uk and complete a Request for Service form.

Whether you're into tech or just curious, this is a great opportunity to learn, create, and meet others. Perfect for young people not currently in education, employment, or training, Seeds is your space to grow and discover new talents. Come along and start your digital journey!
