Primarily fought between the German Army and Soviet Army. The commander for the Soviet Army was Georgy Zhukov. Commanders under him included Vasily Chuikov and Ivan Konev. On the German side the Commander was Adolf Hitler. Commanders under him were Gotthard Heinrici and Helmuth Reymann

The Battle Of Berlin was fought in Berlin, Germany. Areas had to be taken street by street and building by building. Casualty figures on both sides were high. Though geography did not have much factor in the battle and there were many casualties for Germany, there was a "home" advantage for Germany.

Each side had a large amount of people, along with a large amount of army tanks. The Germans who fought there were issued with portable anti-tank weaponry and could use hit-and-run tactics against Russian tanks.

This battle was very significant because it signified the ending of the war. This battle resulted in the surrender of the German army and an end to Adolf Hitler's rule which was also very significant as well.

This battle was a cause of Adolf Hitler and his intentions of taking down the Jewish population and ruling Germany and many more countries. The goals of the Soviet army were to take down the Germany army which they could easily do with all of their army tactics. As far as Germany's goals, they did not plan on being attacked at the time, but then went into defending themselves as best as they could.
