I've learned a lot about growth mindset and fixed mindset but the most impactful lesson I've learned is that its okay to make mistakes as long as you fix them and that its okay to ask for help. I also think that learning to have a growth mindset is worth the time and "brainpower" because it helps you in you present life and your future life
~Makena💖

_______________________________________There are many differences between a fixed mindset and a growth mindset. Before I tell you the differences, let me tell you what they are. A fixed mindset is when thoughts in your brain are always negative. It is almost like a lock that is constantly locked shut and never unlocked. A growth mindset tells yourself that even if you make a mistake or get a bad grade, you are still positive about it and you believe that you can do better next time.
________________________________________The differences are:
FIXED MINDSET:
Negative thoughts
"I did bad last time and I'm not gonna do good this time!"
"I give up!"
Bad working (if you give up or have a fixed mindset you do worse)
Bad thinking
GROWTH MINDSET:
Positive thoughts
"I can do better next time!"
"I am determined to keep trying again and again"
"I can do this!"
Better working
Better thinking
________________________________________
One lesson that I learned from Fixed Mindset VS. Growth Mindset is that when you think with a fixed mindset, you do worse because you have a negative attitude and negative thoughts. If you think with a growth mindset, you work a lot better because you have a positive attitude and positive thoughts!

~Pretzel

There are many differences between a growth mindset and a fixed mindset. When you have a fixed mindset, you believe you are not capable of doing anything, and sometimes you can say" AHH, I'm terrible at this kinda stuff" or " My life is horrible!!". When you have a troubles doing something, but you believe you can do it, that's what you call a Growth Mindset. Sometimes when you have a growth mindset you say things like " I can do this'' or " with a little help, I'll be able to finish this in no time.". Having growth mindset sometimes helps people with fixed mindset, switch to a growth mindset. The lesson that i learned is that, if i just stay positive and use my growth mindset, I'll get through the things i hate the most faster, and get the most of the correct answers at the same time.
_+*Ella*+_

There are many differences between a growth mindset and a fixed mindset. For one, having a growth mindset is better because your mind is open and information just flows in. A fixed mindset is bad because your mind is shut, so you learn at a slower pace, and give up if it becomes difficult. (I know this because I always gave up If I could not understand math.) I've learned that feedback helps me learn more, and how I Can learn from my mistakes, even if I don't like making mistakes.

***ETHAN***

There is a big difference between a growth mindset and a fixed mindset. A growth mindset is better because you are open to more things and want to learn more. With a fixed mindset you might give up if something is hard instead of trying harder. A growth mindset is when you have positive thoughts willing to be open, but a fixed mindset is when you have a negative thoughts, unwilling to change. If you have a fixed mindset you may think "I'm either good at it or I'm not," or "I give up if I find something difficult." When you have a growth mindset you may think "I can learn any thing I want to." or "I always persevere, even when I'm frustrated." I sometimes have a fixed mindset, but most of the time I have growth mindset. What mindset do you have?
~Tayler

There are some differences between a fixed mindset and a growth mindset. A growth mindset is when you are willing to try new things, even though you might be scared (ex. Skydiving: you're scared of heights). A fixed mindset is when after you try something and you aren't very good at it, you quit trying (ex. Tennis: you never hit the ball).
___________________________________
Some differences are:
G.M.: If you practice, you'll get better!
F.M.: I'll always fail at this; I'm horrible!
G.M.: You've made some mistakes; that's okay! Keep trying!
F.M.: Those mistakes were the worst; I'll never get better!
___________________________________
As you can see, a growth mindset is a positive view on things, and a fixed mindset is the opposite. We should always try to have a growth mindset more than a fixed mindset. However, a fixed mindset does happen. If we need help, we should always pray to God. One lesson that I learned is that nobody just has a growth mindset or fixed mindset, we're mixed. We should never judge anyone by if they have a growth mindset or a fixed mindset.
~ Jaidyn :) ;)

There is a difference between a fixed mindset and a growth mindset. A fixed mindset means that there is no room for change, like your mind is made up. A growth mindset is when you are open to new ideas and trying to make corrections from past mistakes. One of the most important lessons I have learned is that having a growth mindset I can do extraordinary things that I could not do with a fixed mindset. One example of that is by not giving up on something that I thought was too hard for me and having a good attitude about it.

A growth mindset is very different from a fixed mindset. When you have a fixed mindset, you are unable to grow and learn. For example, when you are doing a lesson in school and other people finish before you, when you have a fixed mindset you say to yourself, "I'm really bad at this subject and I will never get better." But, when you have a growth mindset, you train your mind to grow and learn when you do bad. For example, for what I said earlier if you have a growth mindset you would say to yourself, "I am learning to get better at this subject and I will get better." I have had things in the past where I have said in my mind that I couldn't do it, like learning to ride my bike, and I didn't learn how to do it right. But when i said in my mind that I could do it, I did it right and I now love riding my bike. I am very happy to have this lesson about having a growth mindset.

I enjoyed challenging myself during these exercise and seeing myself succeed wit my reading ability. I found out that at the beginning of 6th grade I had a fixed mindset about my reading. I have bnow changed to a growth mind set and understand that if I keep practicing I will continue to read better.
 - James
