My interpretation of these lyrics is that they are about the battle of Ragnarok. “We come from the land of the ice and snow From the midnight sun, where the hot springs flow” could possibly allude to the frost giants and sons of Muspell marching on Vigird.

He found himself in a deserted part of Midgard. There, he built himself a house with four doors so that he could see in every direction. In the coming days he became increasingly paranoid. Because of this, he decided to turn himself into a salmon and dwell in a river. One night he was sitting by a fire while crafting a net to hunt. Suddenly, he heard voices in the valley near his home and ran down to the river and turned himself back into a salmon. The gods saw that a fishing net was burning in the fire and decided to look down by the river. The gods spent the night crafting a net to capture the fish in the river. After a long, drawn out process of the Gods trying to capture Loki, Thor caught him with his bare hands. To make Loki pay for Baldur’s death they turned one of his sons, Vali, into a wolf. Vali killed Narvi, Loki’s other son, and the gods used Narvi’s innards to bind Loki to three rocks. Skaldi, one of the gods sent to capture Loki, put a snake above his head so that the venom would drop onto his head. Sigyn, Loki’s wife, sits with Loki until Ragnarok with a bowl over his head so that the venom drops into the bowl. One such ideal is that evil will be punished. Loki is punished greatly for his part in the death of Baldur. Another reveltaion is that is quite similar is the fact that evil will not go unpunished.
