But regret is the thing we should fear most. Failure is an answer. Rejection is an answer. Regret is an eternal question you will never have the answer to. ‘What if . . .’ ‘If only . . .’ ‘I wonder what would have . . .’ You will never, never know, and it will haunt you for the rest of your days.”

Essentially, students will be creating two presentations: 1) An educational presentation that presents insight and solutions to a global problem; 2) A cultural exchange video, i.e. students exhibit a specific part of their culture. Being that we are American and an organization dedicated to girls of color, I try to recruit girls from various cultural backgrounds and encourage them to showcase their home culture, thus representing the diversity of America. Last year, the girls chose fashion and we had Mexican, Trinidadian, Nigerian, and Black/African-American cultural representation.

The attached document will provide more information on the expectations and details of the forum including deadlines, what to submit, etc.

The presentations require research and attention to detail, and students must submit a manuscript of what they will say in their presentation.
