The flavor of their relationships that came from going through thick and thin together, and arriving at this picture of brotherhood where people can come together, just as they are, without masks and genuinely considering one another as brothers... I think that's something that is very encouraging to me. On the one hand there is teaching on relationships - the reasons for them being important, the reasons for the necessity of being saved into the body of Christ, the need for people in order to even live out the commands of Christ... but I think to be able to sort of get a taste of what these relationships formed around Christ, I think that is very encouraging especially since sometimes in the middle of things it can feel like relationships are so difficult and not sure what they are going to lead to.
