Not only will we have time to complete the course objectives, but we will also spend time sharing and discussing what we are learning and trying in the classroom. The curriculum is already in place.  All we have to do is learn, share, and  continue to make our classrooms a better place for kids.

Note:  The first few weeks we would like to dig into the Calkins Reading Unit 2 because Serravallo doesn't come out until Mid-Nov. By looking at Calkins across grade levels we will get a vision of the continuum over time and better understand our students experiences to draw upon.
Serravallo - Read it when it comes out on your own time (Nov./Dec.). In January we can focus on specific ways to implement our learning.
