Which system is better, the Roman Republic or Athenian Democracy? Do you think the republic model still works for the United States? Why or why not? Would an Athenian Direct Democracy model work in the United States? Why or why not?

The roman republic is better because it has a federal document such as us that ensures particular needs to enable a suffiecent and hardworking government. Yes this model still works for the U.S because we all have equal rights and no one is forced to power which could lead to a countries downfall. I do not think the Athenian government would work because it did not work in the past and Athens fell so I do not think it work especially in society today.
