Rock painting is really popular throughout New York. With rock painting you can paint many things like a sunset or a place, thing and more. It may seem that you have to have skill to paint on such a small thing like a rock but it’s really easy. There is not really a way to explain how to rock paint. It’s pretty easy, think of something you want to paint then sketch it out on the rock, but it’s not really necessary but if you want to be precise go for it. Then start painting with a small paintbrush so you could have more detail and be more precise. And that’s all there is to learn how to paint a rock, Enjoy!

Start by squeezing different colors of paint from a paint tube onto the canvas. Then spread the paint around the canvas so it covers all the edges. Repeat the steps and stop when you feel it’s done. Let it dry for 24 hours before touching. If you want it to dry quicker, use a hairdryer to blow it dry.

Apply some paint to the canvas or your fingers and use your fingers to paint. You can create anything you want and it gives your fingers some exercise. It also makes you laugh and have fun with whatever your painting. A recommendation is that you paint a sunset because it is really easy to blend.

It’s recommended if you use a canvas that is still wet and you painted on it with a palette knife but you don’t have too. Get a canvas that’s already painted that’s wet or paint one right now that doesn’t have details. Quickly pour salt all over it. The salt will create little circles and indents to the paint. After it’s dry gently brush off the salt making sure that you don’t damaged the painting in any way.

This type of art called, Marble pouring may sound familiar or not. This type of art is known to be fairly simple and short. For the people that like abstract or anything that looks like abstract, Marble pouring looks very similar to abstract. I wouldn’t say it made the same way but for some people it could be. Here are the steps to make a Marble painting. First If you want to make a big Marble painting add 1/4 cup of paint, color of your choice and do that with the rest of the paint colors you want. After you have a big cup of many different colors of paint without mixing it pour it

When your making art your mind clears away, it helps express and let out your anxiety and stress, and keeps you concentrated. This is because Dopamine(chemical) is released when we do something that you like. Dopamine makes you feel good and calm. Studies show that creating art releases Dopamine.

Types of art projects that releases Dopamine:
1. Put lines of different colors of paint on a canvas. Use a palette knife to smooth out the paint. Do that at long as you want or when it feels done.
2. Use your fingers to paint instead of a paint brush.
3. Pour paint into a cup(add different colors). Pour out the paint on a canvas and make sure to put something under your canvas.
4. Paint a canvas and sprinkle salt all over it. After it’s dry softly brush the salt off.
5. Paint a rock one color. Wait till it drys then add details like dots and triangles on it in different colors.
6. Paint something you love like your family, your pet, and hobby’s.
7. Paint a leaf then stamp it on a canvas. Add lots of them all over it.
8. Color in the lines of a printed paper. Like a flower.
9. Color squiggling lines all over the paper.
10. Try something new in art that you never done.

This type of art is also simple. It includes parts of nature, so if you are a person who loves nature this type of art is right for you. But even for the people who don’t have much of an interest for nature this art can still be fun. To make this art first step is to gather up a couple of leafs, you can fund some leafs in you backyard, front yard, sidewalks, mostly everywhere. If it’s winter where you live you can buy some fake leafs with a real leaf print on it. Once you get some leafs get some paint any color you’d like, many people including me prefer a light green or any type of green similar to the color of your leafs you got but it doesn’t really matter because sometimes you can do thing in your imagination or outside of the box. Then with a paintbrush paint on your leafs with the color you’ve selected. Paint all of your leafs with paint, each leaf could be a different color or some the same and some different or all the same color, it’s your choice! When you’ve got all your leafs painted with the color you like before the paint drys, stick the leaf on to a canvas or paper or card stock. And there you have it your own leaf paint! Some people use there painted leafs and make them in leafs on a tree on there paper! That’s all, Enjoy painting leafs!
