Between the years of 8th and 10th grade, I even served as the Senior Patrol Leader of my Boy Scout troop. The duties of this coveted office included: planning and leading weekly meetings, planning and leading outings and camping trips, sending out weekly emails to the scouts and parents, and more. I figure if I cut my tiktok time in half and spend the other half reading I will be a much happier person. So far it has worked effectively. I'm about 2/3 of the way through The Hobbit.
