I have a king Charles spaniel that likes a lot of attention.

Formerly, I have been working in an athlete welfare capacity for Olympic/Commonwealth athletes. I’m a huge music and TV fan. I was in Doctor Who when I was 6 years old..as an extra for 4 seconds, but I saw David Tennant…so it counts (I think)

I’m excited to learn more teaching skills to enhance my development, so a ground rule I would have would be to be considerate of everyone’s ideas as different ideas and strategies work with different students, especially as we’re all in different departments supporting a range of learners from different social and educational backgrounds! :)

Ground rule I would like is to listen & learn from each other :)

I'm currently working with a variety of the academies at SGS, as well as beginning to start work with institutions outside of the college such as Welsh Athletics and my own private practice.

I'm a big rugby fan and player but haven't been playing for the last year after breaking a few ribs early last season.

Looking forward to cracking on with the course and potentially start stepping into the world of teaching!

Myself and my partner have a 17 week old puppy called Cherry 🍒 his very lovely. I paint in my studio and I’m a pizza chef. I’m from Yorkshire!

Ground rule for the class would be, respect and understanding.

AI as a tool is interesting, especially for a learner with additional needs.

As a tech savey person I consider AI to be a tool at the surface level. The ethical concerns are high however if you do your research you can find there are companies that run data servers with 100% green energy, that are moving into the AI sector. Most companies are rushing to be the main one which has also sent computer part prices too high. You just have to research who you use.

I work in a studio in my spare time, and enjoy experimenting with complex modelling techniques, and early moodboarding design work.

I've worked in teaching for two years now and have been focusing on student productivity and timeliness, (Students love to arrive late to class!).

When I'm not working, I enjoy hikes with my partner, but we have to watch out for the local horses who roam free through the fields.

Regarding a ground rule, it's hard to say, I imagine a positive rule would be maintaining focus during lesson delivery, and keeping ample notes from each session.

Finally Ai; Unfortunately I understand quite a bit about this subject. In truth, I am apprehensive, as the measured benefits currently don't outweigh the disadvantages it poses to students and lecturers - there is still more to learn, so I try to keep an open mind.

Outside of work I am involved in the reggae and dub scene in the South West, running my own event series, DJing and photogrpahing the scene for the last 14 years.

My ground rule is respectful and polite communication.

I believe that AI is only as good as the person who has designed it, and the prompt it has been given.
