First thing that I liked about the story is that it is about presents and I too like gifts. Second thing is that it talk about Christmas. Last thing that I liked about the story was the cake that Sam's mother was holding.

I did not like that Sam had to struggle so much to find his present and he was sad about it.

My favourite character from the story is Sam because he is curious like me.

I learnt from this book the value of showing patience. Sam did not open his present even after finding it, he waited for the Christmas day to come.
