Interpersonal communication, whether it be positive or negative, is irreversible. As communicating beings, our minds are constantly understanding and wanting to be understood as well as expressing feelings. I can easily relate to this principle considering our current generation relies solemnly on technology which so easily creates conflict due to miscommunication. From personal experience, whether being with family, friends or society in general (social media) I have learned how easy it is to say something, or post something, or write something but it is never as easy to take it back. The words you say or the things you do can either positively effect someone (boosting self esteem/self confidence etc) or severely effect them negatively (low self confidence/discouragement) which is why it is very important to be mindful of not only yourself but others as well as their feelings.
