The British Empire starts and causes a great economic benefit for the British government and society by gaining money and power and spreading Christianity as well as British ways of life.
Queen Elizabeth gave permission to set up a colony on Roanoke Island ( USA ) but because of a lack of supplies they quickly became reliant on indigenous people. The lack of trust between the two groups lead to an outbreak of violence. The attempt on starting a colony fails and the British abandon the land.
