The picture is an accurate representation of the red flag Confirmation Bias they were only looking up information that supported there own beliefs instead of accurate information about the topic. The flaw with this is that instead of going off of actual facts people choose to believe there own ideas even if there wrong and cause problems.

Definition:
Red Herring can be defined as a way of distracting from going forth with information that has proof by diverting peoples attention with a piece of information that has absolutely no relevance to the original topic.

Connection:
This video from Family Guy demonstrates the red flag, Red Herring showing two candidates running for election and are answering the peoples questions. One of the candidates though tries to use the persons question and his right to ask the question to divert and get there vote. A flaw with Red Herring is that people choose to side with the person who is trying to divert the attention from the important topic which is the issues and how the candidates plan to deal with them.

There is no physical evidence of these beliefs. We see no physical evidence we are taking these supposedly "Officials" words. People dressed as important figures are trying to pass off vaccines as a dangerous way of causing Autism in children. They are trying to use the appeal to authority to there own advantage to get what they want. People are deciding that All Natural is a better way of going about things and putting their own beliefs above scientific facts about the Vaccination phenomena.

Definition:
People like to add meaning or intentions to theoretical beings that have no proof of existence such as angels, UFO's and conspiracy's.

Connection:
Below is a video about a UFO story. This man has never had a UFO experience before. But when in Thailand he had an experience of a light coming through his window and forming a ball of light in his room. There are many reasons this incident could be misconstrued as an alien interaction when there are many other things that could be that ball of light. Confirmation Bias plays a part in this too because he may be retelling events from a perspective that he wants to or does believe in. The flaw with this is that there is no other concrete evidence that such thing happened there is no picture or recording of the experience.

I chose to evaluate the video Electroconvulsive therapy is back.

Define the problem:
These scientists are trying electrocuting people to see if it can cure mental illness. The results are not always successful

Gather Information:
The story is on a website (https://www.independent.co.uk/news/long_reads/electroconvulsive-therapy-is-back-but-is-it-worth-the-risk-a8084631.html) It is an article about how some doctors are continuing research with Electrocution of the brain to see if it can cure mental illness. It goes into a historical background about the information as well. In past research some of the patients had been left unable to feed themselves or with broken bones. In the Neurologists experiments many schizophrenics had walked away somewhat better but there were some patients that had not been so lucky they were left with significant memory loss. There success rate was 60 -90% Some reports from patients say that some people saw no difference with the treatments.

Evaluate Evidence:
With all the information gathered it is a controversial issue even in todays society how would electrical surges help the brain to help heal mental illness. Many of their patients though were people who suffered with Schizophrenia, depression, and anxiety. The experiments performed back then are all a credible source for the information that Neurologist Ugo Cerletti used and where many others look for there's. With Ugo Cerletti's experiment he had tried to reproduce the same results but those results had resulted in negative outcomes. The trial had resulted in the first five steps than had run into a problem with the outcome. Once they had re-evaluated their experiment they had finally accomplished the steps of the scientific method.

Recognize Assumptions, Emotions, Biases:
Many people disproved of the experiment. It was known and practiced all around the world. It had gone from a supervised experiment to one that had created a negative image on the topic.

Synthesize Evidence, Identify Alternative :
Alternative solution 1: They should terminate the experiment altogether.
Alternative solution 2: Use a less damaging technique for the brain so there are no long term consequences.

Select Best Alternative:
Therefore i conclude that Using Electrocution as a form of therapy is not safe to conduct in today's society there are damaging long term effects of the brain.

Definition:
Ancient Wisdom can be defined as beliefs, knowledge, and a philosophy that dates centuries back in time and used centuries later as a reliable source of information. It is like saying since people back then used this so it must be okay to do so now.

Connection:
This website is connected to ancient wisdom because they are testing practices that were once used years ago today. Medical electric shock was a type of therapy performed in hospitals on patients it was once used negatively on people. In this website there were trying to prove that they could induce a seizure that would help the patient with mental illness. It is skeptical that this should be done again in this time of age because medical professionals from a century ago had used it negatively on patients in insane asylums. The flaw with this is that they are testing on people and it does not always have positive results such as people having some memory problems
