To begin with, vertical farms use technology to keep a good environment inside. They use less water and even, they do not need soil and solar light for growth of plants. They use LED light as substitute for sun. This process would help to use less pesticides and land. Even, it would save a lot of time of production. Besides that, this alternative could provide more employments, and improve the health of population. Thus, farmers could have vertical farms in anywhere place of the world. In El Salvador there are not many vertical farms yet, but many farmers consider them a good option. We could have more vertical farms in a couple of years in our country.

Some desing include the practice of livestock (especially aquaculture on the lower floors; becoming aquaponic and vertical farms have some advantage, for example: use less water, LED lights, etc. Also, I don't know how many vertical farms there are in El Salvador, but I think that these can improve the health and nutrition of our society.

The vertical farms works, replacing old job that machines do currently, just it less works for humans because almost the processes are made throught the machines but the employees help in the final result it cuts the plant. the way plants are  growing, it needs less water just led lights it replace sunlight that all the plant requires.
As a company, they are saving a lot money in pesticies because most the plants doesn't need shore, also they use solar energy because they need energy all the time. In El Salvador, we don't have a vertical farm but if in the future we could have that one, it will  help to import to another country and increse earns.

However, even though it has advantages such as the agility that certain harvests can be made. I believe that the fact of receiving artificial light in the long term can affect something. Also, I do not know if in the future El Salvador could have the ability to have such advanced machines in his power; but it would be to wait and see what happens.
